I'm Kenneth, kennytherex online. I study cybersecurity, build things, and write about what I learn. I'm curious about how systems work, how they break, and what it takes to build them better.
I spend my time exploring offensive security, working through Hack The Box, experimenting with tools, and building small projects that turn theory into practical experience. I also document the process, from technical writeups and independent research to the mistakes, dead ends, and lessons that usually happen along the way.
Right now, I'm focused on Application Security (AppSec), learning how applications fail, how vulnerabilities work, and how to build more secure software. My goal is to develop a strong understanding of web security and secure development before eventually exploring Red Teaming and going deeper into offensive security. For now, I'm focused on the fundamentals, hands-on practice, and learning by doing.
Outside of cybersecurity, I have a genuine interest in mathematics and physics, not just as academic subjects, but as ways to understand the world. I also have a long-standing curiosity about aerospace and the science behind it.
I'm not here to pretend I've figured everything out. I'm here to keep learning, build things worth sharing, and document the journey honestly. Every project, every mistake, and every difficult problem is another opportunity to understand something a little better.
Faith is the anchor. Everything else is built on top of that.
